Candyland in Minneapolis. Expect a line. Photo by Charish Badzinski. |
On 7th Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, you can take a step back in time and enjoy classic candies at a little oasis called Candyland. Simply follow the intoxicating smell of fresh caramel corn.

Conveniently connected to a parking ramp, Candyland offers a pleasant stop off when you’re shopping in downtown Minneapolis or dining at Hell’s Kitchen (mmmmm lemon ricotta pancakes!). Even if all you do is pass through the store and eyeball the offerings or take advantage of the free smells, it is sure to brighten your day.
And, no worries. Though there’s typically a line at checkout, it moves fast.
