A beautiful place to stop and contemplate, San Xavier del Bac is considered to be the best example of mission architecture in the United States. Located in Tucson, Arizona, it is nicknamed the “white dove of the desert” for its gleaming white exterior, which shines brightly against the desert background.

The public is welcome to visit San Xavier mission, at no cost.
