Take a minute to cool down at Playa La Ropa, in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Photo by Charish Badzinski. |
With heat indicies at dizzying heights, heat advisories in effect and no break in sight, a lot of us are thinking about water these days: big, cool pools of the stuff. Long, flowing rivers of water. That feeling as you climb upon the beach of the sand in your toes and the breeze chilling your skin.
For this week’s mini vacay, enjoy a precious moment at the far end of Playa La Ropa beach in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. You are just steps from local fisherman selling their fresh catch and palapa bars serving up icy, blended drinks with a kick. But, let’s face it, the main reason you’re taking this mini vacay is for the water.
What are you waiting for? Get in the drink.
