Those of us who live here know Wisconsin rocks. We also know many of you “coasters” think that this is “fly over country.” Go ahead and think that. From my point of view, it keeps out the riffraff.
But for those with an open mind and a quest for something greater than the daily crush, Wisconsin, and the entire Midwest, offer a beautiful respite. A dear friend of mine, a Mainer, who has never been to the Midwest is coming to visit this summer, and I want to share with her all of the wonders of this part of the country – including Minnesota and Iowa…maybe even Illinois.
Though I live car-free, my friend – let’s give her the honorary moniker RBG2 – has wheels and heels, and we’re going to put them to good use this summer.
So, if you were to develop our itinerary, what would be on it? If you own a business or work to promote an attraction, what would you share with us, and why? And, if you’re willing to show us around, give us insider tips, or give her the red carpet Midwestern hospitality treatment, drop me an email: rollerbaggoddess at gmail dot com. I’ll be sharing our stories as we travel, via this blog.
We can’t wait to roll your way!
